Back from Far-North Europe

We’ve just returned from a 3-week trip to far north Scandinavia, to guide – as usual – our winter photo trips for the Austrian tour operator ARR.
Like in the last years we’ve spent a one week trip on the Norwegian island of Senja and headed then further inland to experience the bitter cold temperatures of Finnish Lapland before hitting the coast again and tour the magnificent Lyngen Alps in far north Norway.
The two groups we’ve been guiding have been blessed with superb light – as typical for witner tours to far north Europe – and moody conditions ranging from winterstorms to crystal clear days. The temperature range we’ve experience was quite tough: we had 9 degrees plus upon arrival and the coldest night temperatures in Lapland hit 30 degrees below cero! Cool stuff actually.
For the next winter we’ve already planned our northern light tours – however this time we will visit Iceland again! So, if you are interested in joining us on our winter trips – make sure to visit our Tours & Workshops page!
