Greater Everglades

Florida’s southernmost tip has ever since been like a magnet for us. We have conducted more than 14 trips to this part of the U.S., have waded through waist-deep water, camped out in the swamps and tried to capture the elusive Florida Panther, an endangered subspecies of cougar, in the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park. Both over and under water – the Everglades are one of the most fascinating ecosystems in the world.
