Wild heart of Europe

Wild heart of Europe

Wilde corners and high population density - a continent of contrasts

This long-term photo project depicts places in densely populated Central Europe where wilderness still exists and places where wilderness is about to return. Besides this, we also show the wild inhabitants of these corners: Europe is the home of big predators. Interestingly, bears, lynxes and wolves don't necessarily need wilderness to survive. The question which remains, however, is whether we humans will be able to coexist with them.

Our book will be published in late 2020. Live presentations, magazine publications and exhibitions will follow.
