Exciting new book project

For about a year I’ve been fully focused and intensively working on one of the most elusive and charismatic European predators: The European wildcat!
On assignment for Residenz Verlag Austria, I am currently writing a book about this mammal species which will be published in May 2021 in German language. Throughout the year I have been travelling up and forth Central Europe and have spoken to dozens of scientists to find out more about wildcats and their current situation in Europe.
Although the book will not be a classic coffee-table book but much more a text-based evaluation of the species‘ current state, its whereabouts and mysterious life, I have also started to work on wildcats photography-wise and there will be a photo-section in the book.
I have installed high-res DSLR remote cameras and managed to already achieve some iconic images of „Europe’s tiny tigers“ 🙂
