Sun, beach and sea – Croatia’s coast is considered a natural paradise.  “The land of a thousand islands” boasts over 7,000 km of coastline, made up from both mainland and islands, and the stunning underwater world is mirrored by rugged mountains and picturesque cultural landscapes.
 
This film will reveal natural treasures and phenomena that are often overlooked. Few are aware that the bright red cardinalfish have a very distinct brooding behaviour. Few have ever spotted living cicadas, those deafening singers of the Mediterranean. And hardly anyone would guess that in Croatia dolphins and brown bears can be seen in a single day.
